New Handbooks
The Handbooks for the 2008-09 year have been distributed. Feel free to document
any activities you do over the summer. For those of you going to summer camp,
there will be many opportunities to complete achievements, so please keep your
book updated!
Committee Meeting
The next committee meeting is Wednesday, September 3 at 7 p.m. at the Scout Hall.
Summer Time Activities
Participate in three and receive a “SummerTime Award”
June 27 – Map and Compass Exploring at Panther
Creek Bow Club in Chatham and BBQ at the
Covered Bridge in Glenarm *rain cancels
June 30 - Air Guard Tour, Springfield
July 10 – Lincoln Museum and Lunch at the Pizza
Machine in Springfield
August 16 – Pool Party, Cookout and Campout at
Amy and Clark’s House
Cost: Bring a dish to share for the cookout
Yes, we will tent camp in Amy’s yard! We plan to have a pool party starting at
3 p.m., followed by a cook-out at 5:00, followed by tent camping for the night.
Stay for part of the activities, or all. It’s up to you!
